Trend Tables

Trend

Item	Description
Save File	Brings up the Save File menu to export Trend data as a CSV file.
Set Data Range	Brings up a pop-up that allows the user to change the visible time period with a YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS selector.
Jump Left	Moves left to a time equal to the current time span.
Step Left	Moves left by one-time interval.
Pause	Visually freezes the Trend at the most recent data point.
Play	Visually unfreezes the Trend and jumps to the current data point.
Step Right	Moves right by one time interval.
Jump Right	Moves right to a time equal to the current time span.
Zoom Out	Expands the Trend object so that more data points are visible on the screen at once.
Zoom In	Narrows the Trend object so that fewer data points are visible on the screen at once.

Basic Properties

Item	Description
Name	Assigns a name to the user's Trend object.
Sample Period (ms)	Configures time interval for the data display. Values between 100 and display time are accepted.
Min Value	Sets the minimum value of the y-axis. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Max Value	Sets the maximum value of the y-axis. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Time Direction	Sets the direction the pen lines flow.
Date Time Format	Sets the format of time.
Historical	Removes storage cap for Trend data.
Use Trigger	Checkbox to enable/disable starting/stopping data collection based on a trigger tag.
Trigger Tag	Sets the tag used to trigger data collection if Use Trigger is enabled.
Hours	Sets the Hours Time Span value. This is shown on the x-axis.
Minutes	Sets the Minutes Time Span value. This is shown on the x-axis.
Seconds	Sets the Seconds Time Span value. This is shown on the x-axis.
Tag	Assigns a non-Virtual (Runtime Only) tag to the current pen. Each pen must have a tag bound to function.
Description	Assigns a description for the current pen.
Visibility	Checkbox to enable/disable the pen's visibility on the trend.
Pen Color	Assigns a color to the line of the current pen.
Pen Width	Assigns a width to the line of the current pen.
Pen Type	Assigns a style to the line of the current pen.

Appearance

Item	Description
Visibility	Checkbox to enable/disable the trend's visibility during project runtime.
Opacity	Slider to set the trend's opacity during project runtime.
Blinking	Checkbox to enable/disable the trend's ability to blink during project runtime.
Blink Interval (ms)	Sets the interval the trend blinks, in milliseconds, during project runtime.
Object Size	Sets the size of the trend's text, controls, and elements. Options: Small Normal Large

Title / Unit

Item	Description
Title	Sets the title text displayed on the trend.
Unit	Sets the unit text displayed on the trend.
Title Color	Sets the color of the title text.
Title Position	Sets where the title is displayed on the trend. Options: Top Bottom Left Right

Colors

Item	Description
Background Color	Sets the background color of the trend object.
Chart Background Color	Sets the background color of the chart area within the trend object.
Tag Value Indicator Color	Sets the color of the indicator that displays the current tag value on the trend.

Show Configuration

Item	Description
Show Background	Checkbox to enable/disable the trend's background color.
Show Controls	Checkbox to enable/disable the trend's runtime controls.
Show Time Span Legend	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying the time span legend.
Show Tag Values	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying the current values of each pen's tag.
Show Value Span Slider	Checkbox to enable/disable the slider used to adjust the value axis span.

Axis Configuration

Item	Description
X Axis Location	Sets where the X axis is displayed on the trend. Options: Bottom Top
Y Axis Location	Sets where the Y axis is displayed on the trend. Options: Left Right
Show X Axis Labels	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying labels along the X axis.
Show Y Axis Labels	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying labels along the Y axis.
X Axis Labels Color	Sets the color of the X axis labels.
Y Axis Labels Color	Sets the color of the Y axis labels.
X Axis Major Tick Num	Sets the number of major tick marks displayed along the X axis.
Y Axis Major Tick Num	Sets the number of major tick marks displayed along the Y axis.
X Axis Minor Tick Num	Sets the number of minor tick marks displayed between each major tick on the X axis.
Y Axis Minor Tick Num	Sets the number of minor tick marks displayed between each major tick on the Y axis.

Grid Configuration

Item	Description
Show X Axis Major Grid	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying major gridlines along the X axis.
Show Y Axis Major Grid	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying major gridlines along the Y axis.
Major Grid Stroke Type	Sets the line style used for major gridlines.
Major Grid Color	Sets the color of major gridlines.
Show X Axis Minor Grid	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying minor gridlines along the X axis.
Show Y Axis Minor Grid	Checkbox to enable/disable displaying minor gridlines along the Y axis.
Minor Grid Stroke Type	Sets the line style used for minor gridlines.
Minor Grid Color	Sets the color of minor gridlines.

Position

Item	Description
X	Controls the horizontal placement of an object. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Y	Controls the vertical placement of an object. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Z index	Controls the layering of objects. Objects with a lower z-index will lay on top of objects with a higher z-index. The lowest z-index is 0.
Width	Controls the horizontal distance of an object. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Height	Controls the vertical distance of an object. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Rotation	Controls the rotational orientation of an object. A tag may be bound to this property to control the value in runtime.
Use Percentage	Controls whether Rotation Centers X and Y are used as percentages or values.
Rotation Center X	Sets the x-position of where the object will rotate from.
Rotation Center Y	Sets the y-position of where the object will rotate from.
